Panel 1

Cora has fallen asleep at her desk during class. "The Theory of Evolution v2" is written on the chalkboard. A teacher wakes her.

SFX: riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing

CORA: Huh?

TEACHER: Wake up, Cora. It's time for lunch.

TEACHER: (thinking) Honestly, why do these kids come to school when they can sleep at home?

Panel 2

Cora stands in the hallway, still groggy.

CORA: What a strange dream.

Panel 3

A girl spots Cora.

GIRL: There she is!

Panel 4

Eric and another boy approach Cora at a table. They seem oddly friendly.

BOY: Why don't you ever eat lunch, Princess? You can't eat like a bird every day.

BOY: Let us get you something to eat.

CORA: I'm not hungry.

CORA: I'd rather you not—

BOY: You just sit here and let Eric get your lunch.

Written on the black board is “The Theory of Evolution vs. C(reationism).” I do not like this blatantly Christian agenda being forced upon free and unsuspecting students.

Final panel is foreboding. A nice one given that I do not like how many of these panels came out. I know I was very proud of this work for a long time, but looking back on it, I feel like it is is wooden and inferior compared to more sophisticated pieces.
