Cora stands at the very edge of a steep quarry cliff, her back to the viewer. She wears the crow feather wings she made, strapped to her bare back. Her arms are outstretched as she faces the vast drop below.

CORA: I am a crow.

CORA: I can fly.

The was a hard page to draw. I’m so bad with backgrounds. If I had to do this again, I would just pay someone to do my backgrounds for me. Drowtales is an example of how ho-hum artwork can be lifted by skilled background artists.
