Meg holds up a pair of pinstripe pants excitedly.

MEG: "Olivia! Look at what I found in your closet!"

PAGE 4, PANEL 2

Olivia looks disgusted.

OLIVIA: "Yuck! I hate those pants!"

MEG: "Why?"

PAGE 4, PANEL 3

Olivia wears the pinstripe pants reluctantly.

MEG: "They're the perfect pants!"

PAGE 4, PANEL 4

Olivia crosses her arms defiantly while a small angel/conscience figure floats nearby.

OLIVIA: "Mom bought them for me. They don't even have any bondage straps."

PAGE 4, PANEL 5

Meg and Olivia argue about the pants.

MEG: "You and your bondage straps."

MEG: "But pinstripes are the new plaid!"

OLIVIA: "I don't care! I want straps!"

*Olivia's shirt reads: "I vant to be alone."

I used to have the most awesome pair of pinstripe Bill Blass jeans from Belk. Many years after I bought them, I still used to wear them under my Icon Bombshell chaps when I was riding my motorcycle. It was a great contrast to have the pinstripes peeking out from under the leather. But! A few botched visits to the laundromat and a more curvaceous figure later in life meant I no longer could wear them comfortably. So sad. Those were some hot jeans.
