Always Pack Protection, Page 7

PANEL 1

Rachel holds a condom packet while explaining to Tuna.

RACHEL: "Tuna, buying condoms doesn't mean I'm giving up my ideals."

RACHEL: "It means that I realize that I am human."

TUNA: "But, won't just having condoms encourage you to have sex?"

PANEL 2

Rachel explains further while Tuna peeks at the condom.

RACHEL: "Under the right circumstances, even idealism and fears of pregnancy and STDs won't stop humans from being humans."

TUNA: "If people want to have sex, they're usually going to do it with or without a condom."

PANEL 3

A flashback shows a couple arguing, with a thought bubble of a woman saying "Gasp! Condom toting whore!"

TUNA: "Won't guys think you are a slut if you carry condoms?"

RACHEL: "I don't see you whipping one out."

PANEL 4

Rachel grins mischievously.

RACHEL: "If we're at the point where we need one, I doubt he'll be thinking at all."

SFX: "Hee hee!"

PANEL 5

Rachel gives a PSA-style explanation with illustrations of Herpes and AIDS germs.

RACHEL: "I'm trying to be responsible by anticipating my mistakes ahead of time, so I won't end up paying for them for the rest of my life."

RACHEL: "There's nothing wrong with being responsible."

PANEL 6

Tuna reluctantly concedes.

TUNA: "I guess I see your point."

TUNA: "But, would you do one thing for me?"

TUNA: "Don't buy the vibrating ring."

TEXT: "End."

“Condom-toting whore.” giggle

Tuna’s so protective.
