Bush Gardens, Page 4

PAGE 1, PANEL 1

Rachel looks distressed in her swimsuit.

RACHEL: "I can't go to a water park looking like this."

PAGE 1, PANEL 2

Tuna makes jokes.

TUNA: "Which park is it again? Bush Gardens? HAHAHAHAHA..."

TUNA: "...a-haha... ha... ha..."

PAGE 1, PANEL 3

Rachel glares at Tuna.

TUNA: "Okay, I'll shut up."

PAGE 1, PANEL 4

Tuna suggests a solution.

TUNA: "Why don't you just shave?"

RACHEL: "I shouldn't have to!"

PAGE 1, PANEL 5

Rachel makes a cultural comparison. A thought bubble shows a comparison between "Korean Guy" (excited) and "American Guy" (less interested) reactions.

RACHEL: "You know there are Korean people paying to get pubic hair implants?"

RACHEL: "Why should I chop off the very thing that makes me a sex symbol?"

PAGE 1, PANEL 6

Rachel continues her argument with illustrated examples.

RACHEL: "Korean males think a thick bush is a sign of fertility. It's the eastern equivalent of big breasts."

ILLUSTRATED GUYS: "Oh, Rachel! We adore your pubic hair!"

PAGE 1, PANEL 7

Tuna makes a counterpoint.

TUNA: "But, don't American guys like clean-shaven chicks?"

RACHEL: "Yes, but how many American guys are clean-shaven themselves?"

TUNA: "Touché."

Tuna’s sense of humor is often ill-timed.
