Rachel excitedly talks to Tuna on the couch. Tuna sits in front of a fish bowl. Rachel is wearing her "Pokemon is my anti-drug" shirt.

RACHEL: "I got a date!"

TUNA: "Really? Oh thank God. If I had to hear one more song by the Raveonettes..."

TUNA: "What're you writing?"

RACHEL: "I want to tell him how I feel without tripping over my words, so I'm writing it out in advance."

Rachel daydreams about herself in a wedding dress. Tuna looks alarmed.

TUNA: "Just don't propose to him or anything. That tends to freak out a lot of guys."

Close-up of Rachel's handwritten letter on notebook paper.

LETTER TEXT: "I knew you were special the moment I met you. You're not like the other boys. I think we have a lot to offer each other. The world is so vast and it would be an adventure to explore it with you. I hope we can see"

Rachel holds up the letter, looking frustrated.

RACHEL: "Agh! It sounds like I'm inviting him to join the National Geographic Society!"

TUNA: "You were expecting a pentagram maybe?"

At a coffee shop or restaurant. A server approaches Rachel who is sitting with her papers.

SERVER: "Can I get you something to drink?"

Rachel sits with her crumpled letter drafts, ordering a drink.

RACHEL: "Yes, a chocolate milk."

What are those shoes Rachel is wearing?

Loving the background Tuna action going on in this scene.

I think one male reader once commented that it was creepy that Rachel wrote down all her feelings. In reality, I have to do this a lot, even with my husband. I have difficulty putting words together when I have strong feelings. (This explains why I use email when I have a bone to pick with loved ones, ha!) You’re less likely to make a mess of things if you have the benefit of proofreading.
