This scene actually happened at Heroes Con '07! People do make connections, even at geek proms like comic cons. I've seen it! No matter how unlikely the situation, always pack protection.

Heroes Con 2007 was crazy. There were so many cool people there. (I think I drew my future husband as “the artist” in that lineup above. We tabled for the first time at Heroes.)

I can’t believe I actually had this conversation with someone. Plenty of people fool around at comic conventions. They pair off on the first day of Dragon Con! I have witnessed the pairing off with my own eyes!
