PANEL 1

Terrifying dark spirits and creatures erupt from the opened pithos, swirling around Rachel who falls backward in terror. The creatures are labeled with the evils they represent:

  • A skull-like creature labeled "Heartbreak"
  • A sinister grinning skull labeled "STDs"
  • A dark shadowy figure labeled "Guilt"
  • A small childlike figure labeled "Pregnancy"

Dark smoky tendrils fill the scene as Rachel tries to shield herself.

In the myth of Pandora’s Box (which totally, once again, much like the Hebrew story of Eve and the Tree of Knowledge), a woman’s curiosity is to blame for all of humanity’s woes.
