Return of the Anti-Cupid, Page 14

PAGE 14, PANEL 1

Jeremy recognizes the woman from earlier—it's the light-haired woman who was getting back with Andrew.

JEREMY: "I didn't mean to yell at you like that before."

WOMAN: "No, it's okay."

WOMAN: "You were right. It wasn't my fault."

WOMAN: "He would have done it again."

The woman looks down sadly.

WOMAN: "I'm sorry."

PAGE 14, PANEL 3

The woman explains her realization, with roses in the background.

WOMAN: "No, no! Thank you, really."

WOMAN: "I was just trying to hang onto him because I thought I could never get another boyfriend."

WOMAN: "I didn't think anyone else would want me."

WOMAN: "But I realized that I couldn't change who he is or what he does..."

She continues, looking wistful.

WOMAN: "...and that..."

WOMAN: "...there are better people out there who I couldn't be with if I stayed with him."

PAGE 14, PANEL 5

Jeremy responds supportively while the woman smiles.

JEREMY: "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I think you did the right thing."

WOMAN: "Me, too!"

This girl’s hair is so cute. She’s like an elf. And she’s wearing my red earrings!
