The guy begs his girlfriend Christy while the Anti-Cupid watches from above.

GUY: "Pleeeeeeeease? You do love me and support all of my interests, don't you?"

CHRISTY: "No, no! I support you!"

CHRISTY: "It's okay."

At "AMEL - Your First Stop" store entrance, the Anti-Cupid comments.

ANTI-CUPID: "What a jerk."

At a lingerie store ("Panties Panties Panties Panties!"), the guy holds up underwear.

GUY: "What about this one?"

CHRISTY: "No. I like thongs."

The guy looks at something and comments.

GUY: "Especially the red ones from my favorite porn films."

PAGE 2, PANEL 4

The guy makes hurtful comments to Christy about her weight while she looks hurt.

GUY: "Well, these are red, and you know how I feel about thongs..."

GUY: "Maybe you wouldn't feel so self-conscious about wearing one if you lost a few pounds..."

CHRISTY: "But, I've been trying, honest!"

GUY: "I just want to make you happy!"

This is one of my favorite page compositions. I got his face so right in all of these. He looks a little like Vash the Stampede, dontcha think? I forgot what this character’s name is, but I drew him with the express intent to finally represent a decent male. Looking back, all I can say is brava! I wish there had been more of these guys! But they exist! And they’re awesome! (Even if sometimes they need a kick in the pants from the Anti-cupid–but most people do!)
