PANEL 1

Rachel thinks to herself, surrounded by a starry background. Sparrow appears surprised.

RACHEL (thinking): "But you have a boyfriend!"

RACHEL (thinking): "And since when has something as small as a boyfriend stopped you?"

PANEL 2

Sparrow looks dejected, standing near the theater exit.

SPARROW: "He stood me up to go play football with his friends!"

PANEL 3

Rachel peers around dramatically while talking to herself. A person nearby notices.

PERSON: "Who are you talking to?"

RACHEL: "No one! ...I've outta soda!"

SFX: STAAARE

PANEL 4

Rachel approaches Sparrow at the concession stand with a sly smile, holding an empty soda cup.

RACHEL: "I need more soda."

SPARROW: "sigh..."

RACHEL: "Can you fill me up?"

Once again I was dropping hints that Sparrows Awesome Shiny New Boyfriend is not as wonderful as he seems. He always flakes out on her. But then again, she’s not the greatest girlfriend if she has no qualms about hitting on another guy… unless… she has an open relationship with her boyfriend. DUN DUN DUN.
