Unhappy Valentines Day, Page 13

PANEL 1

The Anti-Cupid has burst into a changing room where a teenage girl is trying on lingerie. The girl stands in underwear looking annoyed while the Anti-Cupid hangs awkwardly from the curtain rod.

TEEN GIRL: "Look, you perv, I'm buying something special to wear for my boyfriend tonight. So, could you please leave before I scream?"

ANTI-CUPID: "Is this some sort of joke?"

Caption: "Bad timing."

PANEL 2

The Anti-Cupid sits outside the changing room, lecturing through the curtain.

ANTI-CUPID: "No, listen to me! Having sex only proves how much lust you have for your boyfriend!"

PANEL 3

ANTI-CUPID: "It has nothing to do with love! In fact, it's a rather shallow attempt at true intimacy!"

PANEL 4

The teen girl speaks sincerely.

TEEN GIRL: "I don't think you understand. We've been together since middle school. We really are in love, and this Valentine's Day, I'm giving him my virginity."

So much Comic Sans. I hope no font geeks find these.

Self-pontificating pseudo font geek here. I am glad to see you’ve moved on from Comic Sans, but I love the comic regardless. And is it just me, or is this girl supposed to remind me of Aino Minako from Sailor Moon?

  2. Rachel the Great

She certainly does look like Minako, doesn’t she!
